Department Description
The Information Services department is a mixture of software engineers, systems architects, system test engineers, operations technicians, and management. The majority of our software development team is focused on mobile handheld point-of-sale applications, payment processing applications, internal business process applications, and network infrastructure.
Job Description
Work as part of a team in the development of quality products that run on Windows operating system for desktop, web, and mobile platforms. The candidate will participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Responsibilities include requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing, component testing, integration testing, quality, and maintenance..
Position Requirements: Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 3-5 years experience in developing enterprise applications with Visual C# on Microsoft platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies
- Experience with ASP or ASP .NET
- Experience with Windows Forms development
- Experience with Graphical User Interface (GUI) development
- Experience with Relational Databases
- Experience with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), or ADO .NET
- Multithreaded Programming
- Strong debugging skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional team
- Ability to meet commitments with a "can do" attitude.
- Wiliness to travel from time to time
- Experience with Windows CE, Pocket PC, or Windows Mobile Development
- Experience with Microsoft .NET Compact Framework
- Experience with Microsoft legacy technologies
- Experience with Visual C++
- Experience with or knowledge of Managed Code
- Experience with or knowledge of writing secure code
- Experience in IP-based data communication protocols (TCP, UDP, IP)
- Familiar with network analyzers
- Experience with or knowledge of XML
- Experience with Configuration Management
- Experience with or knowledge of UML
- Experience with InstallShield
- Experience in a CMM level 3 or higher organization
- Experience with Microsoft Solution Framework (MSF) Process Model
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Team System
- Experience with COM/COM+/DCOM
- Experience with ActiveX
- Experience with Active Template Library
