Hawaiian to Fly "Cashless" on All Flights
HONOLULU - Effective January 22, Hawaiian Airlines will begin flying "cashless" on all interisland flights, utilizing the same onboard technology that had already been introduced on its transpacific flights.
Using state-of-the-art handheld machines, Hawaiian's flight attendants will be processing credit cards, HawaiianMiles awards and coupons for all onboard purchases systemwide. The hassle-free technology makes transactions faster and easier for customers, and eliminates the need to look for cash and handle change during the flight.
Hawaiian will continue to offer complimentary meal service on its transpacific flights, along with complimentary fruit juices and water on interisland flights.
