The Abanco MDT In-Flight Solution was developed to create an on-board retail environment and generate incremental revenue

In coordination with many of the worlds leading airline carriers, Abanco has developed the industry's only solution focused on the complete management of on-board sales that eliminates the systemic monetary loss associated with on-board beverage and food sales. The resulting solution has empowered our airline partners to gain complete control over their sales and inventory through an easy-to-use multi-function PDA terminal that has been D0-160D avionics systems tested and FCC part 15 subpart B tested.

MDT In-Flight consists of a software application and a hand-held device that allows for the tracking of sales, inventory levels and revenue. This all-in-one payment processing solution accepts all forms of payment including credit cards, cash, coupons, comps, ticketing, and entertainment vouchers for food, beverage, headsets, entertainment and merchandise. In addition, the web-based reporting tools provide reports supporting accountability, inventory reconciliation and trend analysis.

MDT In-Flight Terminal Services employs processes that include:
