Q: Are the reporting features real-time?

A: Yes, Abanco's MDT Solutions provide real-time reporting and web access to view the reports.

Q: What type of training program does Abanco provide?

A: Abanco will assist our MDT customers with training on the functionality of the payment device through group sessions, Webinars, or train-the-trainer type scenarios. Abanco will charge a daily training fee plus expenses to accomplish this goal.

Q: How long does it take to learn how to use the hardware?

A: Generally, the learning curve for the device is short and aptitude can be achieved in 15 to 30 minutes of hands-on training. The program is very intuitive and user friendly. Abanco provides quick reference guides on the device functionality along with base troubleshooting tips and techniques.

Q: Once the system is in place, how can we track the devices?

A: Abanco has developed a comprehensive tracking system that allows the client to view the location of the device by the last IP address that the device touched, a history of data that has been loaded on the device as well as the time and date of the last activity.

Q: We have non-traditional business hours. Can Abanco support a 24-hour operation?

A: Yes, dedicated support is offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with a response time of no more than 2 hours. Support is divided into level 1 and level 2 support and all calls are assigned a service number for reference.

Q: What kind of warranty does Abanco provide with its hardware?

A: Abanco provides warranty maintenance on items supplied by Abanco in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty. Generally Abanco will swap out defective hardware and issue an RMA for the return of the hardware.

Q: Implementation of this program could be challenging. What kind of services do you offer to assist in a smooth transition?

A: Implementation services are available to assist the phased roll-out of the application platform. This is done through the use of Abanco's PMO (project management office) which uses the PMI methodologies to manage the implementation. Abanco will coordinate and manage all or some of the deployment tasks to ensure that a successful roll-out is achieved.

Q: We are very conscious of our customer's privacy. What kind of information is stored by Abanco?

A: Abanco is a VISA/MasterCard compliant company. We are held to very high standards regarding the data we collect. All data is encrypted and kept solely for payment purposes. All information/data collected belongs to our customers and is never distributed to any outside parties.

Q: Can we customize the software?

A: Yes, the software is completely customizable. Features can be developed at the request of our customer.

Q: Do you have wireless capability?

A: Yes, anywhere that has WiFi access can utilize wireless capability.

Q: We would like to motivate the sale of merchandise. Do you have commission tracking capability?

A: Yes, the system offers customizable secure authentication using an employee badge or identification number.
