Abanco's MDT device is a multi-function PDA terminal designed to be a secure industrial, high performance, Internet-enabled terminal that is based on a widely accepted operating system.
With its 3.5" 260,000 color TFT Color LCD, the MDT terminal supports on-screen advertising, interactive electronic coupons, electronic receipt capture, user e-commerce functions and cash management reporting, as well as secure credit and debit payment functions.
The MDT terminal is specifically geared to a business that needs to take the payment terminal to the customer. The MDT terminal comes with a thermal printer, wireless modem and barcode scanner, rechargeable battery pack. The MDT terminal incorporates an embedded operating system with built-in HTML/HTTP web browser. It also offers communication options such as CDMA, GSM/GPRS, Wireless LAN for fast financial transactions.
